Jaime always considered herself “pro-life,” but ended up drifting towards the teachings of the world and unexpectedly became pregnant during her college years.
While some told her to have an abortion, by the grace of God, she chose to keep her baby.
Not long after, she found a job working in a clinic that performed abortions without mercy. Struggling as a single mother, Jaime told herself she could take the job and still “avoid” dealing with abortion directly.
But she soon ended up dead smack in the middle of it all and what she witnessed was horrifying.
Jaime admits that she tried to justify working in an abortion clinic, hoping to be a “pro-life voice” to those who came in.
But then she began to witness several deeply unsettling practices.
She recalled the time she was asked to wash medical equipment that had been used to kill an unborn baby and the horrific smell that came upon her when she opened the door to that room.
According to Jaime, doctors would perform wellness checks on pregnant mothers, then turn around and perform abortions in the same room just hours later!
Talk about being out of touch.
And while Jaime’s spirit was often disturbed by what she saw, she continued to work at the clinic.
However, one day she realized she could no longer deny that the place she worked had zero regard or respect for human life.
Live Action reported:
“I was sitting at the nurses station entering vitals one day when one of the doctors came out of an exam room, bringing a little “show-and-tell” to the nurses station. It was a tiny, precious baby, about eight weeks gestation. This little one had come out still in the sac and still in one piece — which was probably why the doctor chose to share. In its tiny teardrop shaped sac, it was an amazing sight to behold, yet it felt like sick perversion to crowd around looking at the baby.”
How heartbreaking that these doctors found glory in “showing off” an aborted baby.
Truly demonic.
But God continued to move on Jamie’s heart that this wasn’t the place for her.
So when a patient came in one day and said how happy she was that the doctor was a “Christian,” Jamie knew she had to make a decision.
Jamie knew that this doctor who claimed to be a “Christian,” and even wore a cross around her neck, also performed abortions.
Jaime knew she was living one big lie, even being the “face” of that lie – and it was time to get out.
After all, how could she convince this young girl she was “safe” at the clinic, knowing this “Christian” doctor could end up killing her unborn baby!
By the grace of God, Jaime had the courage to leave her job and share her story with others.
Now Jaime works for a clinic that doesn’t perform abortions and is active in the pro-life movement.
She is convinced that God has used her story to help others who may be pregnant and scared.
“And thanks be to God, I’ve shared with others how much I don’t regret choosing life!” Jaime told Live Action.
What an amazing miracle God performed in Jamie’s life! He gave her the courage to give birth to her daughter and leave her former job that slayed unborn babies.
And He continues to inspire her to speak up for the lives of other unborn babies. Who knows how many babies will now be saved!
