“Sex education” is often the political left’s avenue for introducing our children to immorality of all kinds.
While many have tried to stop the onslaught of sex-ed indoctrination in recent years, it’s still required in most public schools.
The secular left delights in exposing young children to deviant behaviors and attitudes toward sex.
But the nation of Poland recently set a huge example by banning this indoctrination from their public schools!
In a recent session, Polish lawmakers voted in favor of a bill that criminalizes “the promotion of underage sexual activity.”
It was a stunning turn of events for many of the country’s liberal politicians, who were outraged at the conservative victory.
The new bill, known as the “Stop Pedophilia” law, aims to protect children and young people from the unnecessary and often unhelpful information pushed by liberal and atheist educators through mandatory “sex education.”
The Law and Justice Party (PiS), Poland’s conservative political party, recognizes that “sex education” is often harmful to young people, setting them on a course for immoral and unhealthy behavior during their youth and into adulthood.
In the United States, for instance, comprehensive sex education involves information about (and validation of) abortion, homosexuality, masturbation, and promiscuity.
Students are encouraged to experiment with their sexuality and not warned of the many potentially negative consequences.
In some cases, teachers even become confidantes as students try to hide their sexual behavior from concerned parents.
The PiS, whose members are largely Catholic, knows that parents should be the ones to educate their children on sexual topics.
So in lieu of potentially dangerous sex education, Polish schools are now encouraged to provide information on how to “prepare for family life.”
Of course, this common-sense approach is outrageous to Poland’s liberal politicians and activists.
On the day the bill was approved, hundreds of protestors assembled outside the Polish parliament with signs that read “Education protects against violence” and “Banning sex education is rape.”
“The attempt to limit access to education is a direct attack on all of us,” said Anton Lewandowska, who works with sex education organization Ponton Group.
“Many people I know who do sex education are scared to do our work.”
Lewandowska went on to call sex education “a basic right of every person.”
But if all the left is concerned about is providing children with basic information about sex, why aren’t they content to let the parents be the ones to do it?
It’s easy to see that liberal activists want to promote homosexuality, abortion, and other immoral behaviors to future generations.
Now that they’re blocked from doing so in Poland, they’re incensed.
“This bill will put young people at risk,” argued Anna Blus, another sex education activist. “It could have disastrous effects.”
Blus and other liberal activists warned that the conservative PiS is trying to limit information and harm Poland’s young people. But the PiS—and the majority of Poland’s voters—just want to see a “socially conservative stance on homosexuality and sex education” prevail.
Marcin Ociepa, a PiS politician, noted that the liberal party’s accusations are “an overinterpretation of the bill,” and that the bill itself is only meant to protect children from early exposure to sexual ideas and behaviors.
“[The law] only says that it is not allowed to encourage a person younger than 15…to have sex or to conduct other sexual activities,” Ociepa said.
Many Polish parents and authorities are relieved by the approval of the bill, including Bishop Igancy Dec who noted that “sexualization programs recommended by the World Health Organization…just harm children and youths.”
It’s these harmful sex education programs that the PiS wants to remove from schools.
However, liberal politicians have taken the opportunity to accuse the PiS of homophobia and criticize the conservative party’s stance on other issues instead of focusing on the true objective of the bill: to protect young people’s minds and bodies.
Protestors have brought the issue before the European Parliament, seeking to have the new law overturned in Poland.
Currently, the European Parliament is calling on other European governments to condemn Poland for its “violation of human rights.”
Pray that the PiS and conservative voters in Poland will stand strong in the face of opposition as they try to protect Poland’s young people.
