It’s best to look for the UMF certified label — Unique Manuka Factor. This certification is regulated by the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association of New Zealand.
It’s not possible to get the miraculous effects of Manuka Honey from any other source than New Zealand.
UMF is often rated to reflect the concentration of methylglyoxal (MG) in. The bare minimum you should consider purchasing for therapeutic purposes is an MG rating “10 UMF.”
This guarantees you are getting an effective enough concentration of the Manuka Factor.
