From sea to shining sea, our beautiful country is full of patriots who bleed red, white, & blue.
But these cities take it up a notch – and are known to be some of the most patriotic places in all of America.
Did your city make the cut? Check out our list of the most patriotic cities in all of America below.
Rapid City, South Dakota
There’s a reason so many veterans call Rapid City their home.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is a conservative hero – banning mask mandates and working to reduce taxes for business owners.
Rapid City is nestled in the foothills of the rolling Black Hills, and is just miles away from Mount Rushmore.
Also nicknamed the “City of Presidents”, life-size bronze statues of every single president span across the sidewalks of downtown Rapid.
Both active duty and veterans alike are proud to call Rapid City home.
Rapid City Journal reported:
“Rapid City is proud to be the home for many active duty members, reservists and veterans,” Rapid City Mayor Steve Allender said in a news release.
“Upon retirement, many who serve in other parts of the country and world return to Rapid City and the Black Hills as it was the most rewarding experience of their military careers.
Williamsburg, Virginia
A year-round destination must see for every family, a visit to Williamsburg is like stepping back in time.
You can visit Colonial Williamsburg, the largest outdoor living history museum in the world, where live actors fully decked out in 18th-century flare will help you experience a taste of the past.
Or take it back even further and check out the Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum in Yorktown which tell the true story of America’s earliest days.
There’s so much to do and see in Williamsburg– here’s a brief snapshot of what you can expect.
Visit Williamsburg reported:
“The Historic Triangle is a triangular-shaped region in southeastern Virginia, bordered by the James and York rivers that encompasses the span of America’s British colonial past. Connected by the 23-mile Colonial Parkway, the three points of the “triangle” are Jamestown, where American’s first permanent English colony was planted in 1607; Williamsburg, the 18th-century capital of the most populous of Britain’s 13 American colonies; and Yorktown, where the decisive battle of the American Revolution was won in 1781.
The area is a multifaceted travel destination, with historic sites, living-history museums, theme parks, recreation venues, lodging, dining and shopping.”
Make sure to add this city to your travel bucket-list so you can have fun learning about America’s history.
And now that Virginia is back to being red again thanks to the recent election, you’ll find things much more friendly!
Cheyenne, Wyoming
When you think of Cheyenne, you may envision cowboys and rodeos – a classic snapshot of the Old West.
Well, you’re not entirely wrong.
While things are more modern now, the “Old West” character of Cheyenne runs deep.
If you take a stroll through downtown, you’ll be surrounded by Western stores and museums.
You can also check out the Terry Bison Ranch to witness grazing bison and get a taste of the “cowboy life.”
If you’d prefer a more active experience at the Ranch– you can go fishing, horseback riding, and even ride a train!
Hungry?
Don’t leave without sinking your teeth into a variety of Bison treats.
And if you’re a nature lover – Cheyenne is absolutely breathtaking and highlights the best America has to offer– you’ll never want to leave.
It’s no wonder WalletHub named Wyoming the 2nd most patriotic state in the entire country.
Ah,’Merica.
Of course, there are countless other beautiful cities in our nation who value liberty and freedom.
If you’ve never experienced the sites of our majestic country, consider taking a train ride through America.
You’ll be amazed at the rolling hills and glistening mountain tops that make up the land so many of us are privileged to call home.
God bless the USA!
